When College Feels Hard
By the time many families realize a student is struggling, the semester is already moving fast.
Assignments pile up. Motivation dips. Stress creeps in quietly.
You might notice:
They’re always catching up, never quite ahead
Small setbacks turn into overwhelm
They want to do better, but don’t know what to change
College isn’t just academics. It’s a constant executive function load: planning, prioritizing, managing time, regulating stress, and staying motivated without built-in structure.
That’s where Momentum comes in.
Ongoing support. Practical systems. Accountability that helps students stabilize now, and build skills they can keep using all semester.
Now Imagine Things Feeling Different…
Your student has the support and guidance they need to manage college with less stress and more confidence.
They’re not scrambling at the last minute or feeling buried under schoolwork.
They’re keeping up, following through, and feeling more capable day by day.
Plan Ahead Without the Overwhelm
They know what’s coming each week and how to break it into steps they can actually follow.
Stay Focused and Follow Through
They use simple strategies that help them get started, stay on track, and finish what they begin.
Balance School, Life, and Well-Being
They manage academics, routines, and self-care with more intention and less stress.
Students aren’t left to navigate college on their own. Momentum gives them a place to ask questions and get support when they’re overwhelmed, with guidance that helps them stay steady and on track. Whether they join live or check in between sessions, they receive consistent, judgment-free help right when they need it most.
How Momentum Works

Bi-Monthly Live Planning Sessions

Weekly Planning Check-Ins
For added structure, students can submit their weekly plan and receive personalized feedback, accountability, and small adjustments to keep everything on track.
Monthly Executive Function Workshop
A new, practical skill each month, like time management, task initiation, study strategies, focus tools, and more. Always ADHD-friendly. Replays included.
What Students Are Actually Capable Of With the Right Support
“I started my first year feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to keep up. With Krista’s coaching, I figured out what actually works for my brain, and everything changed.
I built routines that made sense, finally stayed ahead on assignments, and ended up making the Dean’s List both semesters.
College is still challenging, but having someone who gets it and gives real strategies made a massive difference. I’m more organized, less stressed, and more confident in myself than I’ve ever been.”
– Meredith, College Student at the University of Minnesota

- Organization & Follow-Through: Tracking responsibilities, sticking to a plan, and completing assignments consistently.
- Focus & Task Initiation: Getting started when it’s hard, staying on track, and using strategies that work with their brain — not against it.
- Balance & Independence: Managing academics, routines, and self-care with less overwhelm and more confidence in their ability to handle college life.
Hi there, I'm Krista
I’m a certified Executive Function and ADHD Coach, and I help college students build the skills they need to stay organized, manage their time, and follow through – even when motivation is low or things feel overwhelming.
With more than 20 years of experience supporting students and developing leaders, I bring a blend of practical strategy and compassionate coaching. I also know this journey firsthand: I went from academic probation to the Dean’s List, and later thrived in graduate school once I learned how to work with my brain instead of against it.
Today, I help students do the same with tools that make college feel manageable, support that meets them where they are, and systems they can use long after college ends.
And I’ll be in their corner every step of the way.
What Students and Parents Are Syaing
The students I coach often start where your student is now – overwhelmed, unsure how to keep up, or coming off a tough semester. With support, structure, and strategies that match their brain, things begin to shift.
“I’ve turned in all my late assignments and finished my work for today. It feels so good to be all caught up!”
“Krista’s coaching helped my daughter build confidence and a system for staying organized.”
“I’m proud of myself. I’m doing so much better than last semester and I am way less stressed.”
“I haven’t turned in a late assignment all semester!”
“Habit stacking has been a life changer – I am now remembering to take my medication EVERYDAY!”
“I stuck to the plan, used the study strategies, and did great on my test – thank you!”
Let’s Make This a Different Semester
Your student doesn’t need another planner, another reminder, or another “just try harder” conversation.
They need timely support and simple, effective tools that make it easier to stay organized, focused, and on track.
With Momentum, your student will:
- Plan ahead instead of falling behind
- Follow through with more consistency
- Stay focused and get started more easily
- Manage deadlines and routines with less stress
- Build confidence and independence that lasts
Still Have Questions?
Here are answers to the things parents ask most often when deciding whether Momentum is the right fit for their student.
Yes. Students get direct access to coaching inside the private online community, where they can ask questions anytime and receive guidance, accountability, and encouragement right when they need it. Planning check-ins and workshops add additional layers of personalized support.
That’s completely normal. Many students feel embarrassed, overwhelmed, or hesitant to try something new. Momentum is intentionally low-pressure. Students can participate quietly at first, submit plans privately, or engage only when they’re ready. Most students warm up quickly once they experience how helpful the support is.
Yes. Students can join month-to-month at any point in the semester and will immediately receive access to the coaching community, upcoming sessions, and planning check-ins. Month-to-month memberships can be cancelled 24 hours before you next billing date.
Full-semester enrollment includes the bonuses (Student Success Lab + Semester Set-Up Workshop), but monthly enrollment still provides full access to the core Momentum support
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to register your student. Once registered, your student will receive a welcome email with access to the community, details for the Semester Set-Up Workshops, and dates and times of upcoming planning sessions and monthly workshops. Everything they need to get started strong is sent directly to them.
The Spring session runs January through mid-May, and the Fall session runs late August through mid-December. Students maintain access to the community, planning support, and all live workshops throughout the semester they’re enrolled.
Tutoring helps with academic content; college support services help when students seek them out – which can be hard for overwhelmed students to do consistently.
Momentum gives students ongoing, easy-to-access support right when they need it, without scheduling appointments or waiting for availability. It focuses on the executive function skills that make college manageable: planning, follow-through, routines, time management, and staying on track.
If your student is ready for things to feel easier, Momentum gives them the support and strategies to make real progress.
